Pet care experience
I frequently dogsit for friends and have fostered dogs for the past 2 years. I was previously a foster for my college town SPCA and foster for a local rescue in NoVA now. I’ve just graduated college and will be working remotely so I also have plenty of flexibility! I also have a rescue dog of my own who can keep your pup company when they stay over!

We felt very fortunate that Jenny was available to watch our dog Willow while we were away for two days. We met with Jenny before we left on our trip and immediately felt that she would be caring and a very reliable companion for Willow. She asked about Willows routine and about her habits and personality. Willow liked Jenny as soon as she met her. Jenny was great with our dog, our neighbors even commented on how good she was with Willow. We look forward to hiring her again.
Jenny is our go-to pet sitter while we're gone. In addition to being extremely responsible and caring, Jenny takes care of Ozzie like he's her own dog and it's no surprise Ozzie loves her so much and loves staying at her home!

I also try to learn as much about the animals I take care of beforehand so that I can stay proactive on any possible safety or health risks. I always like to have an overview of a “typical day in the life” of dogs so that I can best stick to their schedule (especially preferred potty breaks) and help them feel more comfortable away from their family. If your pet has any medical or behavioral risks please let me know beforehand so that I can be as helpful as possible!
A typical day
I really enjoy trying out different dog brain games and have a good collection of snuffle mats, brain toys, and dog toys to keep your pet active and mentally stimulated. I regularly go on hikes and new trails nearby with my dog. I also love going to dog parks if your furry friend enjoys being social!
