I have had experience with all kinds of dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, etc. I grew up with an 80-pound German Shepherd named Sheba and had a 70-pound Pibble (Pitbull) named Moo until summer 2018 when she passed away due to a medical condition. I currently have a 65-pound Boxer/Plott Hound mix named Toby. Toby absolutely loves other dogs (all sizes) and is very respective of them. He also loves to play with other dogs if they want to play! In high school and college, I worked for a dog-sitting company called Beg N' Bark, based out of central New Jersey. Through that experience, I did lots of dog walking and home stays with dogs. I also taught dog CPR and first aid at several dog shows and pet store events. I currently volunteer with Independent Animal Rescue (IAR), based out of Durham, North Carolina, and I was formerly the Dog Program Volunteer Coordinator. I have fostered 12+ dogs in the past 1.5 years including hounds (Edison Jr., Basil, Garbanzo), pitbulls (Tuna, Gary, Inky), boxers (Sebastian), labs (Biggie Smalls, Jody), small dogs (Mitzi, Beans, Schorge, Butters).
