Hi there! My name is Jennifer and I have been a pet owner almost my entire life. I am an animal lover and grew up with Shih-Tzus. In the past, I've also owned beta fish, hermit crabs and turtles! I'm currently living in Los Altos with my family and our sweet 1.5 year old Shiba Inu. I'm very friendly, caring/loving, outgoing, detail-oriented and organized. Our typical walking routine includes: a nice long walk around the neighborhood. If a park is nearby then I will take the dogs there and play fetch. Upon returning the pets home I will make sure your pet has been properly cared for with enough water and food. An updated photo(s)/status will be sent to the owner regularly. If there's one thing that everyone knows about Jennifer, it's that she loves animals, especially dogs. She has a strong passion to love and care for them. She shows this especially with her own dog, Bijou, who is much older now and needs care like an elderly human being. Bijou is practically blind, so Jennifer hand feeds her every bite, and because she's old and can't chew her food, she soaks it beforehand. She gives her a bath after every walk and makes sure she's always clean. She treats her dog like one of her babies and makes sure everyone around her takes care of her. I have no doubt that she'd make the best dog sitter and she'd have the most joy doing so.
I was introduced to Jennifer years ago by my friend who I know to have high standards - from our first meeting, I could see that Jen was a natural dog lover, as she treated my friend's dog with as much care and affection as if it were her own. Since then, she has been our go-to any time we needed walking services, sitting, or general dog advice. She's not just a dog person, but she is cool with people, too. Our pets are part of the family, and we're happy to ask Jen to watch them any time!
Jennifer is one of the best dog walkers I've ever come across! She's genuine, friendly, always on time, highly responsible, and not to mention a huge animal lover. I completely trust her with my Shih Tzu and Maltese and they just love spending time with her. I'd highly recommend Jennifer to anyone who is looking for trustworthy walker that will love your pets as much as you do.
Jennifer is a very thoughtful, responsible, respectful and meticulous dog owner and pet sitter. She absolutely loves anything furry and does a great job caring for her dog as well as any other pet I have seen her with. She is the type of person who would love and care for your pet as if it were her own. I would never hesitate to trust her to care for my fur babies (or humans ones)!
