Hi there! My name is Jenn and I am an avid animal lover and dog mom. I've taken care of a vast range of animals since I was 10 years old, with neighbours, friends, and family relying on me to care for their pets. Having a 10 year old black lab and a 2 year old great dane, I understand the anxiety and stress that can happen when your beloved fur baby is in the care of someone else, as well as the responsibility of owning a pet. That is why I started my Rover profile... to provide others with a sense of comfort similar to how I love to feel when my fur babies need someone else to care for them. Having a love for all animals, I am a reliable and compassionate individual who can't wait to meet and care for your pets as if they were my own. I have experience with a vast array of dog breeds and sizes. I also have experience in caring for cats and rabbits. As a nature lover I can provide short or long walks around the neighbourhood or to dog parks/nature parks (as I have my own transportation), as well as provide socialization or play dates with my 10 year old black lab (if wanted).

The only person I trust with my great dane is Jenn. She knows how to look after all breeds, but especially understands looking after giant breeds which is so rare to find. 10/10 would recommend Jenn to anyone.
If you need a dog sitter, dog walker, or someone to check in on your furry friend Jenn is your girl! She's the most caring, sweetest, and trusting person I've come across to watch our boy. Seeing as how he's bigger than her, most people would turn down the job - but not Jenn. She has a calm demeanour that our boy picks up on, and she also won't let him get away with a fast one (as he typically tries to pull when I'm not around lol). I fully trust Jenn with him and know he's in great hands. 10000% recommended!
Whenever we're out of town we always contact Jenn first to see if she can watch our girl. She's dependable, caring, responsible and trusting. Our girl absolutely loves her, and since she's timid it's rare that she will instantly cling to someone, but that person for her is Jenn when we can't be around. Jenn always sends me photos and updates me how it's going which I couldn't be more grateful for. She truly puts my mind at ease as I know my girl is well taken care of when I can't be there. 10/10 recommended Jenn to anyone who needs a dog sitter or dog walker.
Jenn is the only person I 100% trust to watch my pups. When we had an out of town emergency come up at the last minute Jenn came over to watch out two girls. Not only did she drop everything to help us out, but she went above and beyond by taking our girls to the dog park, staying all day with them, and even sent us pictures to keep us updated. My mind was at ease the whole time while dealing with a stressful situation. She's reliable, caring and also the sweetest person ever! Thank you Jenn!

Your pets care is my number one priority. Having experience and training with dogs for ten years, as well as my own two fur babies, I understand the responsibilities that come along with the territory. I do also have my own transportation, so as long as you feel comfortable I can take your fur baby to different walking locations; such as the dog park, nature parks, new trails, the pet store, and so on. Having a great dane with allergies and a heart murmur, as well as my lab with laryngeal paralysis, I have experience in monitoring and administering medications for your fur babies with health conditions.

Please let me know if your pet(s) have any medical conditions or training that should be monitored or followed through on our walk together. If your pet(s) have certain behaviours (ie. around other dogs, prey driven, etc). that may occur on our walk please let me know as well. If your pet(s) have a certain treat they like or toy they like to fetch with I'd be more than happy to bring that along on our walk too.
A typical day
I love to provide both physical and mental stimulation for dogs as I think it is important for any dog! I enjoy going for long walks (but can also go for short walks), going to the dog park, and walking in nature with dogs. My top priority is to treat your dog with the upmost respect, safety, and care that I treat my own dogs with, and how I would want someone to treat them. Making fun treat games has always been great mental stimulation for my Labrador retriever, and I would love to do the same for you fur baby. Whether it's giving a belly rub, chilling together, or going for a walk, I enjoy all activities with dogs and would be thrilled to experience those activities with your fur babies.

Availability
I am a full-time university student in the education program at Concordia University, with majority of my availability being in the afternoons, evenings or on weekends during school months. I am currently available for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends to walk your precious pet(s)!
