Pet care experience
In addition to a lifetime of personal experience living with and caring for both dogs and cats, I have 6+ years of experience dog walking/volunteering at animal shelters and spent a year in college working at a veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant. I have experience caring for pets of all ages as well as those with disabilities. I have two cats and a very energetic young puppy of my own. My animals are part of my family, and I take their care very seriously -- as well as the responsibility to care for yours! I have a fully remote job that is very flexible. I can easily pop over for an early morning or late afternoon/evening walk, and am also typically available around lunchtime. I am available any day of the week. I take pet safety very seriously. Please ensure that you have a properly fitting collar and/or harness for your dog before I take him/her for a walk. Please also let me know if there are any other safety concerns I should be aware of (e.g. sneaky cats that try to dart out the door when it's opened!).

What a pleasure it was to have Jennifer walk Watson for me! When we met a few days before I left for my trip, she came right on time for our brief meet-and-greet appointment, and was clearly very comfortable around my dog. I was very pleased that she could accommodate my early morning walks request (7: a.m.). Evidently, Watson got the attention he needed because he was able to wait for his regular pet-sitter walk around 12:30 p.m. with no damage done to the house! I enjoyed the daily photos, too, and the notes about meeting the neighbor's cat or his eagerness to walk on some days and to focus on sniffing on other days -- that's my Watson! I will definitely request Jennifer again when the need arises.
Jennifer is super punctual and was very caring to my two dogs. She was attentive and my dogs loved their walk with her. They can't wait to see her again.
Jennifer is an extremely responsible and reliable person, as well as an avid animal lover. She is generous in her care for others and treats other pets as her own. You can count on Jennifer to take care of your pet and be confident that your pet will be in good hands!
