I’m currently located in Flowery Branch, GA but will be moving back home to Central NY in the beginning of June! I’ve been pet-sitting for almost two years now, and have lived with cats more than a decade! I’d say what sets me apart is that I want to, and am excited to make a career out of cat-sitting! I truly enjoy spending time with cats. My goal is to keep them, as well as you, as happy and stress-free as possible while you’re away!

This was our 1st experience with a cat sitter for our Bengal cat. Jennifer was a perfect match. We had a great meet and greet before we left for vacation. I could tell Jennifer really loves cats and knew how to interact with our energetic girl. I was able to relax on vacation knowing our fur-baby was being taken care of. Jennifer sent timely daily updates and was quick to answer any questions I had.

As every cat is different, my approach is to take things at their speed always. I’ll gladly play, snuggle, provide chin scratchies, etc! But I respect their boundaries and will even work with them to come out of their shell:) I’m there for them, an emotional support human while their family is away:)
Information Jennifer V. would like to know about your pet
The more info the better! In addition to feeding and general info, I need to know about any medications, allergies, if they’re allowed to have any treats/catnip I bring, any dislikes of the cat, places they aren’t allowed.. anything you can think of will definitely help!:)
A typical day
Each visit I grab any mail, greet the babies, tend to food and water, clean litter if needed. After the necessities, all attention is on the babies! We can play with their favorite toys (sometimes I bring some over!). I’ll pet them, give chin scratchies, even put on relaxing music if I think it’ll help:) I’ll groom them if they enjoy that (or need it). I’ve worked with cats that aren’t comfortable with me to get them feeling better! My bottom line is I’m there as their emotional support human while their family is away.
