I love ALL creatures! I have extensive background in caring for a variety of pets - and I love dogs of all ages and sizes. I am aware that each dog has different personalities and different needs. I have rehabilitated my own adopted dogs through the difficulties of separation anxiety and have worked with nervous, elderly, over-excitable, and mellow dogs and adapt to each dog's needs through compassion, patience, consistency and rewarding desired behaviors. I have work experience from the Humane Animal Welfare Society, had classes on wildlife rehabilitation, was the main caretaker for a pet store, and cared for my own pets from the last 40 years. I am a self-employed artist, mother of two teenagers (also loving pet people), and I cannot imagine life without our animal companions. As I see a need for animal care in my community, I want to step up and treat your pets as the valued family members that they are. I am also available on short notice and have flexible scheduling available.
