Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in upstate New York and spent my childhood caring for an assortment of animals, from birds to cattle. Being the animal lovers my family is, we always had cats and dogs in the barns and house. I have first-hand experience caring for other people's animals, and spent a summer in high school dedicated to an eager Golden Retriever puppy named Scarlet. Every weekend when Scarlet's people were home, she'd still sit at the door at 10 am sharp looking for me! I now have my own two dogs: Gracie, a Sharpei/Australian Cattle Dog mix, and Keiki, a Border Collie mix. I enjoy being active with my dogs, whether we play ball in the yard, go hiking, or simply take a walk to the park. I understand what it's like leaving your dog home alone while at work or away for travel. I will care for your dog (of any size) how I would want mine cared for. Rest assured that your dog will be treated like family with me!

Jennifer was great, reliable and super friendly. She offered an initial visit to make sure our dog was comfortable with her and he greeted her with excitement. Everyday, she gave us an update and the experience was seamless and worry free.

Jenny was an extremely responsible, professional, detail-oriented, and loving caretaker to my two dogs. This was my first time using Rover so my paranoia and high standards were on overdrive. I felt at ease as soon as I met Jenny. She was patient in talking me through her experiences and provided references per my request (her references were stellar). Jenny sent photos and updates to me daily and notified me when one of my dogs was having digestive issues. Jenny went out of her way to pick up special food for my ailing dog and kept me informed of my dog's progress. I highly recommend Jenny to take care of your furry family members. I returned home to find two very happy, well-loved dogs and a spotless home. Jenny left the house the way she found it. She is as good as they come. I (and my pups) could not be happier with Jenny.
Full disclosure, Jenny is my wife. But trust me when I say that she is an exceptionally kind-hearted person who will make sure your dog is treated like royalty. Plus, she has spent time with a trainer and is very familiar with many dog-friendly ways to correct undesired behavior. Don't pass up an opportunity for her to take care of your furry family member(s)!
