I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs (my own and others) of all ages, including senior animals. I am also a former HBSPCA volunteer where my roles included dog walking, cat kennel visitor, fostering (cats & dogs) and animal hospital assistant. I have experience administering insulin and allergy injections as well as oral medication and have assisted with post surgery monitoring and recoveries. I also have my own dog and 2 cats 🐕🐈🐈 __________________________________________ I have noted below some frequently asked questions I have received from past clients. Hopefully this helps if you are wondering about some of the same things 🙂 FAQ: Q: I am new to Rover, how do I pay for pet care services if I book with you? A: All payments go through the app, via credit card. Before a service is confirmed, we both need to accept it through the app/website. Your address will need to be entered before I can confirm on my end. ***Please note that I can provide a discount code that gives you $20 off your first Rover service*** Q: Can I meet with you in person before the pet care service occurs? A: Absolutely. I am happy to come to your home and meet you and your pet in person to make sure it's a good fit for everyone and that all questions are answered. Q: Is there a charge for the Meet and Greet visit? A: Nope! Q: What if I prefer to talk over the phone or just communicate over the Rover App? A: This is also fine as long as your pet doesn't have any special needs or reactive behaviours that would require an in person visit prior to the pet care service taking place. Q: What if my plans change and I no longer need pet care services but I have already confirmed the booking through the app? A: Same day cancellations are permitted. This means you will receive a full refund if you cancel anytime before the service begins. Please note that each service provider on Rover sets their own cancellation policy which might vary from mine. Q: What if I need to modify the details of my booking (such as day or times)? A: There is a "Modify" option where you can change the day(s) and or time(s) of your request(s) and the new information will be resent to me. I can also do the same on my end and the new request would be sent to you. Q: Will I be kept updated on how each visit or walk goes? A: Absolutely. For every walk and visit I will complete a "Rover Card", in which I always provide pictures of my time spent with your pet as well as comments regarding how everything went, you will also see when the visit started and ended. This will be sent to you automatically once I finish filling it out (which is done within a few minutes of the visit ending). I can also be reached by text or phone (via the Rover app) if you need to communicate while away. __________________________________________

It was our first time leaving our Cat alone, we found Jennifer who look after our cat for a couple of days, she was amazing sent pictures and diving us an updated. I highly recommend her.
Jennifer stopped by to give my cat some attention while I was at work. She was flexible with my schedule. She called ahead of time to gather information for the visit and about the cat. I was comfortable having Jennifer at my house and with my cat.
Arlo was extremely happy after his long jaunt with Jen. She was a gentle dog whisperer! Arlo can’t wait for her to come back!
Jennifer took care of our little cat while we were away for a few days. Our experience with her has been absolutely wonderful. She was quick to respond to our booking request and was punctual and extremely professional. She took time to get to know our cat during the meet and greet and took really good care of our cat while we were away. We were completely relaxed and could enjoy our time away without any worry. She sent plenty of photos and detailed updates through the app. We are glad that our search for a wonderful pet sitter is over. :)
