Pet care experience
Personally, I have been a life long dog lover. I competed in dog obedience competitions as a child and grew up with a variety even then - English Mastiffs, Corgis, and mixes. Professionally, I have trained, raised, whelped litters, and cared for dogs since graduating from the Military Working Dog Handler School at Lackland AFB in 2005. Since then my experience has been diverse as has my clientele. As I am new to Little Rock, I am working on developing my business here.

Your dogs are integrated in my day and life. I crate as needed. Not all dogs need crates but for those that appreciate the safe, den like space I am glad to support it. Limited crates are avaialble so please bring your own. I have a fenced in yard that is safe for a variety of sizes of dogs. They will go out multiple times a day and walks are an easy add on - just ask! If you dog needs to go to an appointment, like the groomers, that is something I am glad to accomodate. I do not take dogs to dog parks but I am glad to provide short walks or long hikes. I passed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Certification in February 2023.

Please share your dog's energy level, typical schedule, habits, personality quirks and stress triggers. I want to set up your dog for a successful stay. Please let me know if there are any behavioral issues, physical limitations, or health concerns of which I should be aware. I am comfortable giving all kinds of medication to include IM shots and oral meds. I feed a raw diet and am glad to do the same or any special diet at your request. I am also glad to accomodate home visits by a traveling massage and body work therapist, depending on her availability this must be booked in advance.
A typical day
I love to break up the day with potty breaks, time outside, food or toy games, and walks. For short walks there are plenty of options around the walkable neighborhood. For long walks Two Rivers Parks is one of my favorite places to go.

Availability
The dogs staying at my home will be treated as my own. My dogs live a structured life with meal time, play time, and relaxing time. I will do drop ins and walks at your residence but all day care and boarding will currently be at my home with limited exceptions. I travel out of state for other clients so advance booking is necessary.
