Pet care experience
I’ve had cats since I was 12 years old. I pet sit for neighbors that have cats with special needs (medications, diabetic needles). I also have a lot of experience administering fluids for kidney disease. My cat passed away in March 2023 and I know when they are later in years and have special circumstances just how stressful it can be when planning a weekend getaway or trips for weeks at a time.

Jennifer came to my rescue early January, I needed a last minute drop in services for my two cats and she was able to get back to me within minutes to make the visits possible. She really went above and beyond for me and my cats, getting to know them in their environment offering treats and playtime. I was provided with tons of pictures of her drop in visits showing my cats, their food and litter box, which put my mind at ease while I was away. I am a repeated customer and will continue to be as she quickly built up trust with my timid cats, I highly recommend any of her services to everyone as she’s one of the most reliable and trustworthy people I have met this year! Jennifer took great care of Kika! Kika loved hanging out with her over the winter so it was a brainer to pick her again. I loved the daily update photos and helpfulness and care at drop off and pick up. I’d pick Jennifer to watch Kika again any time!
Jennifer was amazing with my two cats. One of my cats is diabetic and she was very well taken care of. I received adorable pictures and videos everyday, and my cats were very spoiled and lucky to have such a wonderful and caring sitter. Thank you Jennifer! I live in a 800 sq ft corner unit of a building on the 4th floor. There is tons of sunlight and on some days a beautiful warm breeze (depending on the Toronto climate). I allow pets on the couch or the bed, but would rather that our furry friends don’t hop onto dining tables or counter tops. I clean the litter boxes as soon as I see that it has been used. I think it’s important to have a clean home… for furry friends and for myself. My space is big enough for a tag team, but I will not have any other animals in at the same time who do not live together. I feel that a new environment is stressful enough without any further unfamiliar elements. I am familiar with cats of all stages in life and therefore can adapt to each one individually and personally.

Also if they have any preferences, for example to be held or if they do not like to be picked up etc. any information that you think is important or that you want to share. I want to know whatever makes you comfortable with having me look after your loved one.
A typical day
In regards to cat activities I like to use different cat toys. I do not use any strings. Brushing if the cat enjoys that and lots of cuddles (also if that cat enjoys that). I also like to see if they enjoy any videos on YouTube that show games for cats or videos for cats. Some really love it!!

Availability
I currently have a hybrid work schedule. 60% in the office and 40% at home. I do not have any work on the weekends and therefore have a flexible schedule. It is a Monday-Friday 9-5 job and therefore I am home in the evenings.
