I have 30 years experience caring for, working with and loving dogs. My mother is a veterinary technician and a certified dog behaviorist. I've lived with dogs my entire life. I've volunteered at shelters and recently worked at a Rhodesian Ridge back rescue. I love dogs and can usually pick up their vibe very easily. I have been known to be capable of handling all levels of difficulty when it comes to dogs. I am gentle but consistent and I do not accept poor or dangerous behavior from my charges. I believe dogs (and other animals) deserve our respect and care and can be expected to behave in a manner that benefits the pack. I am generally very good at spotting iffy situations and avoiding them before they are a problem. I am also a licensed massage therapist and have found massage to be exceptionally useful when dealing with animals experiencing any joint issues or stiffness.
