Hey there I'm Jen. I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up in Scotland on a farm. We owned working dogs, as well as lots of other animals. Animals are a big passion of mine. I am used to handling animals of different breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I came to Canada back in 2012 and fell in love with the amazing outdoor lifestyle and culture BC has to offer.

Jennifer was very good with our dog, treated him just like family. I received updates and photos. Baron got along with her dog and they were a great fit. If you are looking for one on one with personal attention then Jen is your best bet. Would definitely recommend

We were nervous with this being our first experience using Rover to have a “stranger” watch our pup, but it could not have gone any better ? Jennifer made time to come and meet Kali ahead of us going away and was very understanding with all our questions. While we were away she was really great sending us photos and updates often, and most importantly came back to a very happy pup ? ?
Jennifer is extremely professional experienced and kind. Always on time. Gives very detailed useful feedback after walks. Our hyper dogs Ted and Rosie adore her. Jennifer goes the extra mile to make the sessions super fun and safe. Very knowledgeable about dog training. We highly recommend Jennifer.

I have my own dog Toby who is a Standard Poodle crossed with a Komondor. He is 75 pounds and a goof, with a big personality. He is my companion and goes everywhere with me. He is energetic and playful and very intelligent and knows a lot of commands. We love to go on walks and explore new places. I offer house sitting and also boarding at my house which has a large, fenced back yard. I have some nice places to walk by my house but also like to go to other spots. For house sitting I will treat your home like it is my own and like to leave it the way I found it. Sometimes my husband joins me for house sitting. I prefer to do a meet and greet before accepting bookings to get to know the animals and owners beforehand.

A typical day
I love taking dogs outdoors for good walks. Some of my favourite spots to visit are the beach such as Centannial beach, McDonald beach, fields, parks and forest trails. Let me know what your pet prefers. I will provide updates and photos of our time together.

Availability
I have another job but I mainly work from home. My schedule is flexible and some days are short. This provides me with the ability to spend time looking after animals and to take them for walks.
