Experience with Dogs: In my childhood I had 3 dogs to take care of and love.I would bathe them, feed them and play with them.Walking around the neighborhood and going to the park was our favorite activity! Later on I learned from YouTube videos how to train my dogs. I taught one to sit, speak on command and another to play dead. It was fun and they loved being rewarded with their favorite treats. I feel that I naturally have a good connection with pets. I genuinely enjoy their presence and giving them the proper care they need, and keeping things fun! Experience with cats: It wasn’t until I was slightly older that I came across cats and was amazed by how different they behave from dogs. I’ve learned through my own experiences that cats appreciate their space and need a more sensitive environment. As they are very sensitive to loud noises or fast movement. I’ve learned this because I’m currently living with a cat that doesn’t belong to me. I was told by the owner that the cat liked routine so I had started to feed him everyday at 10:30am as a way to communicate to him that I mean no harm. He slowly started being less fearful of me. I gave him space and we started playing together. He comes up to me and rubs on my leg to communicate that he wants to play! Everyday before eating he wants to play! Although he seems calm, he still needs something to release all that energy! He’s quick, smart and sweet. For this reason I love cats and respect them. I’ve learned that they need space, time, and patience.
