Dog, dog, dog! I love dogs!

Pet care experience

2024 Summer NOTE: I live far from celebration activites such as fireworks, shooting ranges, busy roads, etc. ! If you need even overnight July 4th care so your K9 companion, mutt, pup, kiddo or what they are to you to have safe place, space, and fun with other pups, this is it!! I have and so much love 2 of my own pups and would have 40 if I could! We live on a wheat farm with only the resident birds as neighbors. Although I have a large fenced area for my mutts when I leave them home alone, they are free to roam in and out of the house via dog doors which the gates are always open when I am home. However, if k9 guests are here, gates are shut at all times for that security, except of course when we leave for walks. I work full time from home, which is a great opportunity to be here for others needing a place to have their pets taken care of! My own are a 11 year old male mix shephard; he was a homeless boy I found street living when he was 4 months young and is such a blessing to my life! I am also blessed with my 5 year young pitty mix who came into our life when she was 5 months. She was a fostered pup with a charmed life! My babies are my world as I am theres. I care very deeply for the K9. I would be honored to take care of yours while you need to be away. I understand they need a well rounded healthy diet and treats are always on board. However, whatever your preference is for your pet, I can handle.

Jennifer is very observant of our dog's temperament and behavior and asks questions for conformation and clarification. I have 100% confidence in Jennifer and feel lucky to have found her!

Jennifer was the best dog sitter! We had daily pictures and updates and never worried if our pup was doing okay. Her dogs are the sweetest and got along great with mine! I couldn’t recommend her enough and we will definitely be using her again!

We have used Jennifer’s services several times and couldn’t be happier. Our dog loves it there and her 2 personal dogs are great playmates. She is a fabulous caretaker and always sends us updates and lots of pics of our boy.

Our senior dog, Abby, spent the day at Jennifer's for a trial run. This was the first time in the four years since adopting her that she'd stayed in someone else's care so there was some anxiety on our part. Jennifer was very welcoming and asked questions to get a good picture of Abby and her needs. She sent a photo and feedback during the day to let us know that all was well. Abby did fine and our fears were put to rest thanks to Jennifer's thoughtful care. We'll be back!

My pups are allowed to go in and out through dog doors, but the yard is fenced as well for when they are left home alone and at night, And when guest pups are here, I keep the gate shut for that added security. If your dog is good to be off leash to take walks, great! If they need to be leashed, I will be sure to do so. I do not have neighbors or busy roads near my home so they are safe on and even around the property. However, we do have other critters around we are well aware of. My own pups typically lay by my desk all day until we take our walks, but play time is always encouraged.

Information Jennifer R. would like to know about your pet

I would encourage dog (all pets) owners who opt to hire me to care for their k9, guinea, pet, dog, fish, whatever possible, to bring thier own food, treats, beds and toys, etc. They must not be sacrificed during a transition while away from their mainstay/home. I can adjust to your pets feeding schedule and or treats too. If a pet needs time out for feeding or simply for themself, I can arrange that. If your pet (pup) knows how to use a dog door, even better but I can help train that if needed. They usually get so encouraged by other dogs using it they just go for it! I do not use crates, but am familiar with them to be used and set up as needed.

A typical day

Typically, the day starts early and feeding by 6 or 630. Since I work from home, I feed small meals, three times a day. After a noonish walk, the pups get another small scoop of kibble then dinner around 4 or so and another walk! My dogs are with me all day; loved on and get outside as needed.
