Pet care experience
I first started taking care of dogs when we got our family dog, Ruby, when I was 7 years old. She lived for 15 long, happy years and during that time I was responsible for playing with her, feeding her, & bathing & grooming her. When I went off to college, I helped foster a dog and together we potty trained, walked, and fed him on a regular basis.

Jennifer is wonderful with our cat and she does a great job of sending us pictures of him having fun with her. Jennifer is top notch and we will certainly look at o book her next time we travel!
Jenn was wonderful with my dog, Pickles. She helped out last minute when I had to go home for a family emergency and I’m really grateful for her help. I could tell my boy felt comfortable with her and I would recommend her to other pet parents. Thank you!

Jennifer is so great with my dog! She is a COVID puppy, so has been used to having someone home alone with her all day. As I have to go back into the office more and more, it has caused me stress to leave my dog at home all day when that is not something she is used to. I love that I have someone I can trust to check in on her - it eases my stress so much! Jennifer is so communicative and understands what is best for Riley when checking in her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dogsitter and will definitely be booking again! :)

Since I will be offering drop-in visits and walking, my home will not be a factor. I do plan to have treats at the ready for them when they are well-behaved during the walk!

Knowing the size, age, breed, and energy level of the dog are all important things for me to know. Additionally, if there is anything to know regarding how they act when they see other dogs, how they are on a leash, and whether they prefer to walk, jog, or play as their form of exercise.
A typical day
I love going on walks and runs around the Arlington neighborhood. I know of a few good park spots in Ballston/Virginia Square area that are great for fetch. I also enjoy running/walking the Four Mile Run trail and the W&OD trail nearby.
