For dog sitting and doggy day care I prefer smaller to medium breeds (up to 50 lbs.) Because of my other pets, I cannot accommodate dog- or small-animal-aggressive dogs or dogs with a biting history (my neighbors also have dogs and small children.) Dogs must be housebroken or working on it for dog sitting/doggy day care.

I live in the country, so walks are along country roads past farm fields and sometimes into them! My neighbors are all dog owners with friendly (or contained) animals. My Corgi is a fan of other dogs, especially those who like some rough and tumble (her best buddy is a Dachshund mix next door who's still in the puppy phase) and believes there's no such things as too much ball, even indoors. I live near Lake Michigan and know a couple dog-friendly beaches, too, if you have a water lover!
