large dogs welcome & loved

Pet care experience

I understand the importance of a truly loving, safe, and "like family" care experience. Over the past twenty years, I have house-sat family and friends' dogs as well - in their home and mine, all sizes of dogs. For the best experience for your fur-baby, I recommend dogs 30-80lbs to match play with my 2 year old female Weimaraner. Food and break schedules will be honored to help your dog best. I have raised and successfully trained a loving high maintenance Weimaraner. I'm ready to give your fur baby love and attention to ease their anxiety with your absence.

We were passing through Holland and reached out to Jennifer to see if she could watch our dog (Fletcher) for the day while we explored around the area. Jennifer was quick to respond and was available to sit for Fletcher on short notice. Upon arrival, she did a great job to make sure that her Weimaraner and our dog were comfortable with each other and would get along. She told me about some of the things they would be doing during the day and she even prepared a frozen Kong for Fletcher for an afternoon treat, that was so super cool!! Jennifer even helped us out with some recommendations on things to do in the area, which we greatly appreciated as well. During our time away, Jennifer sent us lots of pics and videos of her Madeline and Fletcher playing and having fun. It was very comforting to know that Fletcher was in good hands and that Jennifer really cared about making sure he was really well taken care of. The pick up was very easy and I could tell that Fletcher had an awesome day and was sad to go. He slept the entire 7 hour car ride home back to St. Louis, so we know for sure he had an amazing day. We will certainly be back in contact with Jennifer when we are back in the Holland area. Thanks for taking such great care of Fletcher!!

Jennifer was a wonderful dog sitter for our Chester. She was very communicative and made sure we were on the same page with all care questions. We received regular updates, which made it clear he was having the time of his life at her house! Best of all, he came home happy and exhausted. Chester will be back with Jennifer any time we need a sitter!

Jennifer took better care of our dog then most people do with their children! Not only did I get continued updates, but our baby thrived under Jennifer’s Care! We thought it would be so difficult to leave our puppy but Jennifer really made the transition easy for all of us!! Thank you so much!!!

I have a large fenced yard that is combo mulch and grass. This free range yard is behind the house. I currently take my girl for hour walks in the morning and after dinner. We'll all walk together as possible. You'll tell us your pet's "I gotta go" cues (and we keep a bell by the door also). Our home is non-smoking and pets are welcome on the furniture and beds. They are bathed* if get too dirty from play. Food from the dinner table is forbidden to pets and I'm used to taking time to prepare healthy food for my girl - so special dietary needs and separate feeding spaces is acceptable for yours. Our entrance has a two step climb and the house has a combo of tile, wood, and carpeted floors.

Information Jennifer Q. would like to know about your pet

It's important our dogs get along and I recommend a meet and greet with our two pets prior to their stay. I'll appreciate knowing if they are territorial over their food and certain toys as well as anything else to be on the look out for and/or accommodate. Let me know preferred treats you offer and any special attention that will be needed during their stay with me. (For overnighters plan to provide a clean-ish blanket with your scent on it for their calming needs, supply of food adequate for their stay with instructions on quantities, current pee/poo schedule, and doctor + insurance info should an emergency arise)

A typical day

We will walk daily around the neighborhood near my home. There will be play in the house & yard daily along with a puzzle-(food)-toy provided in the afternoon.
