Animals can teach us so much about balancing fun and peace in our lives. From my first cat, Muffin, to our latest dog, Zeke, my pets have been a source of valuable companionship and joy. I know the same is true for so many pet owners and I will treat your pets accordingly. I often tell my students that pet-sitting is my dream retirement gig. But why wait? Pet-sitting offers a fulfilling and flexible way to earn some extra cash while doing something I love.

It was great to get Jennifer to walk Chloe. The pictures were nice and she made the effort to make sure the dog had done all her business before coming back in the house. I will reach out again to her.

Jennifer was a great sitter, she clearly loves animals and is very good with them, even our somewhat snarly rescue dogs! She bonded with the dogs after a day or two, and they seemed happy on our return. Communication and responsiveness was great, reliability awesome. What more could you ask for?

I am used to crating dogs and dispensing medicine to cats and dogs. So long as your dog is trained and behaves on the leash, I am happy to take him/ her for leash walks. I will not take your dog to areas where other dogs are off leash. And I am comfortable caring for smaller pets as well. As a teen, I had mice, hampsters, and birds as pets. I'm also familiar with chicken care and open to other farm animals.

A typical day
My dogs have always been passionate about fetch. But I enjoy walks on the bike trail and conservation areas as well. If you notice in the photos, my dog Zeke is also trained on the paddle board.

Availability
I work a public school teacher's schedule. That means plenty of afternoon, evening and vacation flexibility. Since we have our own pets, I'm usually never very far from home.
