Over the years I've owned, fostered and cared for animals of all ages and sizes, and managed numerous health care issues for cats, dogs, horses, various pocket pets, and some bird species. As a veterinary student, I am aware that finding care for elderly animals or those with special needs can be especially challenging. My services are open to all pets regardless of their age or health status.

Jennifer was so kind and loving to our cat. Our cat was in good care and received her medication at the same time everyday which is crucial to her health. Jennifer was also flexible and accommodating during the holiday season. Thank you Jennifer! We would hire her again.
Jennifer provides a place that feels like home for a weekend of boarding. Her dogs are friendly and playful which adds to the fun environment for our dog. She gave sumo all the love and attention and walks he needs. Definitely will use her again!

Information Jennifer P. would like to know about your pet
There are a few things that are very important to know about your pet ahead of time. Most important is their feeding schedule, any medications or treatments they require, and at least one veterinary contact (default ER choice is ISU Animal Hospital). Additional information that is helpful in making your pet's care more enjoyable is their favorite toy, activity, and/or treat, whether or not they have any behavioral issues to be aware of, and a rough idea of their usual daily routine. I'd love to get to know your dog's personal preferences to keep them as happy as possible!
A typical day
Aside from AM/PM feedings and afternoon walks, the rest of my day is atypical since my schedule revolves around your pet's needs. There are multiple walking paths in my area, so I like to vary the paths I take every day. On occasion, I enjoy a good, long hike around Ada Hayden Park or Ledges State Park. If your pet is a couch potato, I have a couch. If your dog likes to socialize, I live close to a dog park. I'll do my best to accommodate your pet's preferences.
