Hello my name is Jennifer and I am a HUGE animal lover! I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY where I started walking dogs at a very young age for my family, friends, neighbors and any friends they would recommend me too. I would walk their furry friends, bathe them whenever I was asked to, feed them three times a day and provided many overnight care as well! In 2017 I moved to Jersey City, NJ and worked for a dog walking company,Colorfuldogs, up until the spring of 2019. My job was to scan in when I arrived for the dog walks, take pictures of the dogs during our walk and once we returned back to their homes I would have to scan out and write detailed summaries for owners based on their pals walk. Many times without being asked I would take care of the basics, if their dog happens to have an empty water bowl I would refill it before leaving. I walked many different breeds of dogs, did an awesome job handling all breeds and provided many overnight stays at their home with absolutely no problem! After leaving the company I joined another awesome dog company in September, Donovans Dogs! My job had two playgroups every day, during each playgroup I had to pick up a minimum of 3-6 dogs from their home and take them to the dog park. At the dog park I had to observe, play and take pictures of all my pups while also making sure to clean up after them. After a while of playing at the park I was trained to get my group of pups rounded up to leave the park. I would then drop off all of my pups back home and make sure they are left with water in their bowls. I would also email their owners with at least three pictures of their pups time at the park and provide a small summary about their pals time at the park as well. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 the small business lost many clients. Half of my team members were put on furlough until business kicked back up. Luckily I was able to work through the pandemic up until April 2020 when I was reaching my 4th month of pregnancy and decided it was best for me to stay safe at home. After having my daughter I moved back to New York and got back to working as a dog walker on the upper west side.
