I am a Salt Lake City resident new to Rover. With 25+ years experience caring for pets, I look forward to providing care services for your dogs and cats. My first pet was a hamster. I was responsible for cleaning out the cage every week. After years of caring for the hamster, our family adopted a black lab puppy named Dolly. With the help of dog training websites, she was potty trained within a month. She learned many tricks; sit, stay, speak, sing, stand, dance, play dead, and balancing a treat on her nose until we said ok. Years later, we adopted a beagle puppy named Murphy. Murphy and Dolly were great friends. They loved going on walks around the neighborhood and visiting dog parks. Dolly passed away when she was 14, leaving Murphy depressed and lonely. Searching for a new friend for Murphy, we found a twice returned Beagle at the Humane Society named Buddy. He struggled his first year with us. With the help of Murphy's friendly, playful personality, and loving patience from his new human family, Buddy would show signs of improvement daily. His behavior has significantly improved and he loves going to dog parks with Murphy.
