Daily walks and lovings!
Pet care experience
We have had rescue dogs for approximately 10 years, we have Pepper (3) Bailey (8) and new best boy Charlie (8). We help our neighbors with drop in visits, sick dogs and last minute needs. We love spending time with dogs and going for walks. We provide cat visits as well as dogs! Jen: I have past volunteer experience with a local shelters which included a formal training program for volunteers. I am an RN. I do this because I love dogs and cats. It is fun and it’s great for stress management Mike: I have had rescue dogs for 15 years. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like. My wife said I can only have 3 dogs so this is the next best thing.
Reviews
Jen and Mike are amazing like always! Full details on every walk, and arrived home to very happy and exhausted pups!
Jen and Mike watched Red and Artie again. As usual, tons of pictures, super detailed notes, and very tired dogs when I got back home! Always a treat returning home after Jen and Mike take care of the dogs!
Jen and Mike are the best! Tons of pictures, detailed reports, and reach out for guidance whenever there is any issue with my pups!
Jen and Mike are awesome like always! I came home to two very tired pups that were totally indifferent to me being there! They’re probably thinking “ok, you’re here, but when do we get to see the fun people again?” Highly recommended!

Safety, trust & environment
The animal drives the activities for visits, slow sniffy walk or a robust trot to burn through energy. Maybe more in the mood for snuggles vs activity, that’s good too. We bring raincoats, coats, treats, towels whatever is needed for a successful visit and happy fur baby. We strive to surprise you and go beyond what is expected from other sitters. We arrive at all visits with supplies; leash, poop bags, towels and grain-free treats. Shoes off when entering the home and rub downs for pups when coming back inside. We come prepared! Get on the floor for butt scratches, muddy walks, adverse weather, throw the ball around or maybe just some cuddles. All visits include checking/providing fresh water, provide meals, outdoors visits for potty as much as they need along with an overall check to be sure everything is safe in their home environment. If you are gone for an extended trip happy to bring mail/packages in, put trash out and ensure no major calamities go unnoticed (but better if there are no calamities! ) Pets are unique individuals with personalities and likes/dislikes- this is something that is important when interacting with animals. Pets are beloved family members. We appreciate your trust and are so appreciative to get to know your baby(s) and you. Let us know anything that might help our time be better. We are happy to accommodate in any way. We are comfortable with rescues and pups learning their way. You are welcome to request one of us specifically. Generally speaking daytime visits are done by Jen but we will confirm with you who is coming if you don’t specify.
Information Jennifer & Michael S. would like to know about your pet
Food allergies and if your dog is dog-reactive on a leash. It just helps us be better prepared to make the visit as safe and fun as possible for your pet.
A typical day
I’m not offering overnight stays. Typical day for my dogs include naps on the couch, open back door for unlimited outdoor access, usually a neighbor friend dog comes over for lunch play and evening walk.

Availability
We work full time from home. We understand that some pups aren’t always comfortable with men. Mike just couldn’t hear anymore about all the amazing dogs Jen gets to see every day so he joined Rover too.
