I'm a long-time animal lover, whose young adulthood was full of pet-sitting, dog walking, and volunteer work at my local animal shelter. I was lucky to have my cat Quicksand in my life since I was very young, and have also fostered mother cats with their kittens for our local shelter. While I haven't worked with dogs in quite a few years, I am always happy to interact with those that I encounter in day to day life and hope to work more closely with them now. I have a vested interest in learning more about dog training, especially with service dogs, and can follow you or your trainer's lead when it comes to maintaining your dog's training while I am with them. I love to snuggle but I also love to play, and I am happy to meet any animal at the energy level they are at so they can get the exercise and the love they deserve. Having fostered feral cats before, I understand the importance of space and appropriate affection for those pets who are more skittish or have behavioral and health troubles. I'm also happy to pet-sit or visit with small and furry pets. I have experience looking after rabbits, hedgehogs, and rats, and am happy to learn the unique needs of your pet. My two little rats are the joy of my life, and I am very comfortable with helping others meet the socialization needs of any pet when they are away.
