Pet care experience
I've had dogs all my life, and while living in Minnesota I helped train my roommates dog, and always assisted her with Rover stays at our house. She has a high energy Lab-Pitbull mix who we spent a lot of time leash training and playing fetch with. Experienced in boarding multiple dogs from different families while we were working with Rover. Because of that experience I also have had significant practice in doing multiple dog meet & greets to ensure everyone gets along. Growing up I helped leash train my family's Samoyed for skijoring, and our Husky mix for long distance running. I miss having a dog in my life and would love to help take care of the furry member of your family! I am essentially always free on the weekends and am easily available for early morning walkings in Phinney Ridge / Ballard.
Reviews
This is the second time Ollie has stayed with Jennifer - and once again, came home smiling and tired from clearly having lots of fun and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
Perfect communication and our dog loved Jennifer! Thank you!! Highly recommend!
Jennifer was awesome! She was always super responsive, easy to communicate with, easy to schedule with for pickup and drop off and even sent photos of our boy during his stay. He seemed to have a good time and hardly even wanted to leave! (I was trying not to be totally offended ;-) I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer again!
Jennifer was awesome! Poio made himself right at home with her and barely noticed us when we came to pick him up. He was tired from long walks, and had a great time with her.

Always checking the comfortability of bringing dogs to the dog park if that is a possibility, keeping the same schedule (food, walks ) as the dogs are used to and helping reinforce any behaviors you are working on.

Information Jennifer M. would like to know about your pet
1) How comfortable is your dog around other dogs –(a) on walks (b) able to go to the dog park (c) sitting at coffee shops / breweries 2) Level of training they are at and any behaviors you are trying to teach/ reinforce or break 3) What medications or special diets they are on and how they react to them (easily tricked with peanut butter and pills vs knows they get medicine at 7am and will pout / hide in the morning, hates eating their nighttime food, etc.) 4) Level of barking -- 2 of my roommates work fully remote from our house and if I am going to the office I need to know they will not be disruptive (on weekdays) 5) any territory marking behaviors
A typical day
I love going for walks around Green Lake or Golden Gardens and when possible taking dogs to the dog park at Green Lake. If you are interested in seeing how your dogs react to chickens, I enjoy bringing curious dogs to my house on walks (we have a fenced yard) and watching them investigate the chickens (in a fully fenced in coop).

I live and work in Phinney Ridge – I am mostly in the office but am easily able to walk home and check on dogs or if they are friendly, I can bring them to the office. (And my coworkers love if I do this!) Very easy for me to let dogs out in the AM and PM regardless of if I am in the office or not, and very very easy for me to do walks at really any time on days except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. *Am willing to stay at houses full time for overnight sitting, but I don't require it! Whatever you prefer works for me. For some reason it doesn't let me set that as a note in that section.
