Hi friends, my name is Jen and I look forward to having a laugh and cuddle with your fur baby. A few things about me: My partner works from home, and I work in a dog-friendly office where I am affectionately known as the “Dog Whisperer". All the dogs seem to know where my desk/treat drawer is. I am an approved ARF (Alberta Rescue Foundation) Foster Mom, having fostered many pups that are six weeks old and up. Being an ARF Foster Mom has taught me how to properly care for, and train, dogs using positive reinforcement and clicker training. I have my own ball of crazy, Sooka (which means “Bitch” in Russian), who is a 13 lb mini schnauzer and absolute love of my life. Sooka is good with most dogs unless you are a big dog who tries to put your paws on her. Sooka can be a bit dramatic when this happens (eye roll), but once the boundaries are set, she will be a fast friend. In addition to loving Grandma the most, and having the innate ability to take up the majority of our bed, Sooka also knows some tricks via sign language. My guarantee to you and your fur baby: I promise to give your pup the best care I can. I promise to love your pup as if he/she was my own. I promise to keep your pup safe, healthy, happy, hydrated and belly-rubbed. My motto: Be the person your dog thinks you are. I look forward to meeting you both. :)
