We were disappointed with our Rover stay to say the least. Jennifer did not communicate with us on our dogs status. I had to message asking how they were and I had to ask her to send me pictures. When I received the pictures they were blurry and of horrible quality. We have a strong suspicion Jennifer only kept our dogs in her kitchen blocked by gates. On the day of pickup I once again had to message her the status of my dogs. She messaged saying my dogs “tore a lot of my furniture and my bed”. When I asked what furniture she only mentioned a pillow from her sofa. Now to me, a pillow is not “a lot of furniture” nor is it a bed. My dogs have never been destructive & if in fact they “tore up a lot of furniture” including the bed… How long were they alone for for this to happen? Jennifer stated during our meet and greet she would be home all weekend. Worst of all, she failed to mention one of our dogs had eaten left overs (chicken) from the counter and had thrown up afterwards. She was negligent to leave food out. There dog bed had vomit on it and both my dogs and their dog bed smelled really bad. I had just bathed them before their stay. Arriving home my dog had diarrhea and vomited again. The fact that she failed to contact us on what was going on is truly disturbing. Last but not least, Jennifer’s house is a complete mess! Not to mention the poop all over the floor from her dog which doesn’t get picked up. On the day of the meet and greet she was apologetic saying she hadn’t had time to clean but she was going to clean it that day. We thought she would and the day of drop off the house was in the exact same state. I would not recommend Jennifer for taking care of your fur babies because we do not feel she took care of ours.

Having been a pet parent herself, Jennifer has always had a heart for animals, especially dogs. Whenever my dad has to go out of town for the weekend and needs someone to watch his dog, he knows he can rely on Jennifer. We know that the dog is having an awesome time, because it’s like he doesn’t even want to come home after being with her! Always wanting to be active and outdoors, your dog is sure to get some exercise in. Jennifer would make a great dog sitter being the loving, caring, and most responsible pet lover I’ve known.
