Pet care experience
I have volunteered a lot of my time at a pet rescue for two years and my daily duties at the rescue include dog walking, feeding, cleaning, and vet visits. Because of my time volunteering at the rescue I have gained a lot of experience with the care of dogs. I will likely be available most evenings and weekends to care for your dog. I love taking dogs for long walks and I love spending time playing with them. I also love to cuddle with dogs so whether your dog needs to burn energy or just relax I'll be able to provide that for them. I have had a dog for most of my life so I have at least seventeen years of experience taking care of dogs. However, I do not currently have a dog so I am missing having a dog as a part of my life. Therefore I am looking to be able to spend time with and take care of a dog as much as possible because in my opinion my time is best spent with a dog.

If you’re looking for dog boarding, I do have one cat so your dog has to be comfortable with being around cats since I’m not able to keep them separate in my apartment.

A typical day
I live within walking distance to the Forks so your dog and I can take walks there and down the river trail. I also live close to a couple of parks that we can play at. Along with the parks close to me, I love Kildonan Park, Assiniboine Park and Forest, St. Vital Park, and Kings Head Park so we can take trips there to walk, play and hangout. If you wish, I can also take them to a dog park as there are a lot of great ones in the city. While we’re at my apartment we’ll play and relax on the couch.

Availability
I’m currently working full time Monday to Friday, usually 7:30am to 3 or 3:30pm. I’ll be available most evenings and weekends for walks, drop ins and boarding.
