I have over 10 years of experience caring for many different types of animals - ranging from cats and multiple dog breeds -- to reptiles, pigs, llamas, and sheep. I lived on a farm :) I have worked for several rescue organizations and have a soft spot for any representative of the animal kingdom. I am currently a grad student researching birds (see...*really* LOVE animals). I treat your pets as I would my own. Lots of attention and affection & only high quality treats (on your approval).

My experience hiring Jennifer to watch my elderly dog in her home was absolutely perfect. Jennifer responded quickly to all communication from initial booking request and day of drop off/pickup. I received daily updates with photos and my 14 yo dog came home happier and more energetic than when I dropped her off!
Jennifer was an awesome sitter! She kept me updated with pictures and truly enjoyed spending time with my Judah. It was really comforting to be away and know someone who loves dogs is taking care of yours.
Jennifer was a communicative, enthusiastic, and responsible sitter for my two floofs…so much so that they really didn’t seem to want to leave when it was time to pick them up after their two week stay with her! Jennifer was so great with our dog, Sega!! She showed us around her place while he got acclimated to his new environment for a few minutes and was ready and waiting with treats to make him more comfortable. She sent us updates throughout the weekend and we could tell Sega was soooo happy! She took him out to the park and by the lake! We told her he was still getting used to walking on the leash and being around so many people on the sidewalk (were brand new to the city life !) and she took extra care to make sure he got out and enjoyed outside!! She even gave us some helpful tips that seemed to work for him! He was happy as a clam when we picked him up! Definitely will be using Jennifer’s services again for our next trip!

A typical day
Conveniently, I live steps from a park. We start our mornings bright and early there. We do a minimum of four outings a day -- with one really good walk. For the energetic ones, I like to walk the waterfront. For those that enjoy more of a meander, we frequent Grant Park.
