Pet care experience
I am currently training 3 Belgian Malinois for sport and police contracting work. I love the challenge and seeing how each dog works differently and finding ways to motivate each dog as they all are different that’s the beauty in the training. Dogs aren’t one size fits all but one truth is they need clear consistent fair communication. And above all trust! I have been looking for something part time maybe full time… as I love working with dogs and horses. For me taking care of animals is not a job but a joy! I have volunteered and also been a foster mom. I currently 2 Great Danes and 3 Chihuahuas, 3 Belgian Malinois( these are working dogs) I love all sizes& breeds. I have had a dog in my life since I was a child. My parents currently have 2 of their own in Kansas City ( Dogs We have had: Golden Retrievers, Labs, Boxer, Weimaraner, Chihuahuas, Yorkie, Aussie, and have handled horses). Pets are family too. I treat them as such, I believe in giving them the best care possible. I can walk, play, feed, snuggle and talk to them. I am not a vet teach but I have administered meds to my own pets. I do have some experience with Horses. I handle and train Malinois and have trained some pet dogs and many puppies. Every Pet has their own unique personality I love seeing how they interact and being able to work with them is such a joy. I like the quotes If my dog doesn't like you then we can't be friends... lol and " Stop telling me he's just a dog. My dog has more personality, integrity, empathy and loyalty then most people I know. He is Family.

I train my Malinois once to twice a day. They get individual time and some play with one another permitting our training program, as they are working dogs like police dogs. My other guys are lovable and spoiled. Now don’t get me wrong my Malinois are loved too. They love to play, fetch jump, run and go find things. They get outside often and also couch time we play. One thing I won’t do and have learned in my years of having dogs and dog training is u won’t find me taking my own dogs to dog parks and I can share with you why and my experience. However I also live by the thought process that each person needs to do what works for them and I 100% respect that.

I just need to know first and foremost any health issues I need to care for or look out for, neighbor issues that I need to watch for or pets surrounding that could be issues, Any little quirks they have and or could be a threat to you pet that is number one there safety, example one of my dogs needs to rest 15-20 min prior and after eating. and my puppy likes to jump the fence which has be fixed;-) Then of course I want to know your pets personality likes dislikes commands and how you handle your fur baby so I can treat them as you would. I can handle many situations and feel comfortable with dogs. No breed restrictions.
A typical day
I will try to keep the dogs normal routine the same. I will want to know what a normal day looks like for him or her, little quirks they have. Walks, sitting and hanging out, fetch, feeding. I do not take dogs to the dog park only because of the liability of what other dogs and there owners could happen. I could not live with myself. Not everyone handles dogs the same and or know how to handle dog situations. I handle each dog differently because they all need different things
