My family and I had a dog from 2012-2019. Ever since then, my partner Sam and I have taken care of dogs for family and friends. Dog sitting for us was the best way to fill the dog-shaped hole in our lives and get used to the responsibilities that come with looking after a dog. We have looked after a range of dogs from toy breeds and puppies to large dogs. We now have our own male cockapoo, Remy, who we've trained since we brought him home in July 2023.

Coco clearly loves staying with Jen and Sam, and you can tell how much they make it feel like home for her when she’s at their house. Jen send loads of photos and updates, so really reassuring to know she’s in good hands and having fun when we’re away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend
If my dog Chewie was able to rate Jennifer and Sam - I think he would definitely give them five woofs! I went on holiday for a week and was a bit nervous about being away from Chewie for so long. J&S have had Chewie for the day and he came back so happy - that I didn't think twice about going back. I was sent pictures and videos very frequently which was awesome. I picked up a very happy doggie after a week. The only thing is that....with all the fun activities and adventures that Chewie had in that week - I don't think he even noticed I was gone!! :-) I will definitely be asking Jennifer and Sam to look after Chewie again.
It's was Stevie's first time away from us and Jennifer and Sam were great about making her feel comfortable and sending us updates. Thank you both for taking such good care of our little pup!
Absolutely fantastic first class care from Jennifer on Bruce’s first stay - could not be happier. We were made to feel so comfortable leaving him and got lots of reassuring pictures and messages. Jennifer is so lovely and she took such great care of him. I hope she will have him again! Thanks Jennifer

We have a large fenced garden and space in our house for your dog’s bed, plus crate and pen if needed. If needed, we have a 10m training lead, so your dog can run around the park freely without risk of running off! I will always make sure to send you regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and being well looked after.

- Is your dog friendly with people and other dogs? - Are they house-trained? - Do they walk nicely on lead? - Are they allowed off-lead in the park? - How much exercise do they need each day? - Can they be left alone and how long for? - Where do they usually sleep (we prefer for dogs to sleep in their own beds)? - What are their cue words? - Do they have any allergies/intolerances? - Do they need any regular oral medication? We always like to meet you and your dog before confirming bookings to check they are a good fit for us and our own dog :)
A typical day
Wake up is usually 7-8am where we will let the dogs in the garden for their morning potty. In spring/summer, I will usually take them for a 30-min walk before I start work. Whilst we work, your dog can sleep next to my desk, downstairs or on the landing, wherever they feel most comfortable. We take regular breaks for playtime and cuddles! We live in a mid-terraced house with a large garden. It's about a 10-min walk away from the lovely Valentines Park for a runaround after work, or 30-min from Wanstead Park for longer walks at the weekend.

Availability
We work from home most of the week, so can be quite flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Weekend availability depends on our plans, but if we are going somewhere dog-friendly, we'd be more than happy to take well-behaved dogs with us.
