Pet care experience
Pets can sense my care and compassion for them and warm up to me quickly! I am an experienced pet foster parent and pet owner. I have provided care for pets in all stages of life, puppies and kitties, adult, and senior dogs and cats. I am adept at helping train pets to reinforce good habits they are learning at home. I have cared for pets with illness and medical conditions and will administer oral medications and IV fluids if needed. I love making connections with pets and will care for your like my own.

Always spectacular care for Maverick
Jennifer and her husband took in my dog, Scuba, last minute for a couple hours as my previous sitter fell through last minute! Very thankful to them! Scuba was happy to have another dog to play with and person to cuddle!
Jennifer took amazing care of my dog and cats while I was away! She kept in contact with me daily, sending pictures and updates about my pets, and truly made me feel like they were loved, safe, and care for while they were with her. I will happily book with Jennifer again the next time I'm in need of pet care!

I am always careful when entering or exiting any location (car/home) to make sure pets are secure and safe. My home has a fenced-in patio and is located in a safe, walkable neighborhood. Pets who stay at my home will be able to play and relax downstairs in the living/dining room and kitchen areas. We have an outdoor security system and are safety focused. When coming to your home, I would apply the same strict rules regarding pet safety and follow any directions provided. I'll be happy to send you photo and video updates to help bring some joy to your day and assure you that your pet is well.

Please let me know if you would like to have a meet and greet with your pet before our first visit. This is a free service and highly recommended. I want to make sure everyone is comfortable. It is also important for me to know if your pet gets along well with other dogs and I have a Siberian Husky. If your pet has any special needs, I am willing to assist with medications and special dietary restrictions. Puppies are welcome provided training pads and special instructions are given to me in advance. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!
A typical day
Pets who stay with me should expect to go on walks, play with toys and relax, all in a comfortable, safe and quiet environment. I will run with your dog for an extra fee. Please schedule running in advance (only recommended for dogs who already run with owners). I will send you pictures and videos of your pets to make sure you experience their visit and have the comfort of knowing they're enjoying their time here.

Availability
My friendly, 4 year old dog is a female Siberian Husky named Riley. We live an active life together! We frequently run together, and Riley has competed with me in 5K races and a half marathon! Whether we are relaxing, playing inside the house, running on nature trails or walking on the beach, we have fun! I work from home as an education professional (I am a former professor at Coastal Carolina University) and enjoy the flexibility that remote work provides for me to be a stay-at-home dog mom! Though I do not have a cat at the moment, I also love cats and so does Riley. We will welcome your pets into our happy home!
