I am a veterinary student at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and I look forward to caring for your pets! I have had pets all my life and I have worked as a vet assistant for three years prior to vet school. Working as a vet assistant, I have gained many skills that I can apply towards pet-sitting such as properly handling animals, administering medications, and knowing the limitations of a pet based on their breed, age, and background. Furthermore, if there is anything out of the ordinary with your pet, I can spot it and let you know. I have also worked with horses so I have large animal experience as well. I have pet sat for several families over the years and look forward to doing it again!

I have known Jenni to be nothing but compassionate and caring when it comes to animals. She is detail oriented and very responsible. Both of my dogs absolutely love her. Anyone would be very lucky to have her watch their animals.
Jenni has been our #1 cat sitter for many years. Our cats have daily meds and Jenni had no issue with administering the pills. Also, her vet experience gave us additional confidence that our cats were in good hands while we were away for more than a week. Our snotty cat even warmed up to her after a couple of visits. Jenni is trustworthy and reliable and we will definitely be calling her again the next time we are out of town.

I do not have breed preferences, but I would like to meet your pet with you before I actually begin pet-sitting. I would also like to know beforehand if your pet is aggressive towards any animals or humans, and if your pet has any triggers that cause them to lash out, such as touching their paws, strangers at the front door, etc.
A typical day
I love to hike, so for the higher-energy dogs, I am more than willing to go on nearby trails such as the Huckleberry Trail (if your dog is alright in the car). If your dog has a favorite toy or enjoys fetch, I can play with them in nearby, open grassy areas.

I work 3 days a week but besides that I am available most of the time during the day! I am happy to accompany whatever your pet needs.
