Pet care experience
My husband and I both work from home and are in love with animals. We're very active, so our furry friends get lots of activity, while returning to the home for lots of warmth and love! Our two kids help with the care of the animals and understand the importance of walking, letting them play outside, feeding them at specific times listed and allowing them outside to go potty! We have a fenced in back yard, so on warmer days we allow them to play outside and then return indoors to snooze. We have tons of chew toys, bones, and beds for them to make themselves at home around our house. We also tend to provide training to new animals when they come over to play on doggy play dates.

Within our home, we have multiple chew toys, bones and beds to ensure the animals are able to stay active and play. We also have several donut dog beds lying around the home for them to make themselves at home and cozy when tired. We also have an oversized fenced in backyard with lots of dog toys so that they animals can play outside when it's warmer out. We do not leave them outside on days when it's colder. This is typically when it's below 50 degrees. We'll let them outside to do their business and then bring them inside to hang out.

We don't have any specific preferences at this time. We love dogs of all sizes, personalities and spirits. If they are furry, love to play and cuddle we absolutely adore them.
A typical day
We're a very active family. We go hiking often with our dogs. We have an Anne Springs Greenway membership, which allows us to take them hiking off-leash. There are tons of trails that also include a lake for those warmer months when the dogs want to swim, fetch, and cool off. We take them to the puppy playground often. We'll also take them to Lake Norman boating during the hot dog days of summer! We love our furry friends and making sure to make the most of each day with them!

Availability
Both our dogs are well trained and we provide the training ourselves. We feed our own animals, both dogs and cats on intervals two times daily with automatic feeders. This allows them to digest their food better while staying active. We also have cameras within the home, so that we can make sure that they are doing good when not at home. We walk our animals multiple times a day and typically take them on 3-5 mile hikes a few times weekly. They have lots of chew toys, bones and beds so they can actively play and get cozy when tired. All of our furry friends are well loved, pampered and spoiled 24/7!
