SHORT VERSION I have experience with the following: Housesitting (single or multiple nights) Caring for other people’s cats/dogs/fish/plants Dog-walking Working with high needs animals (med/behavioral issues) AVAILABILITY: weekday evenings after 4pm OPEN AVAILABILITY ON WEEKENDS MUST BE KID-FRIENDLY...SOMETIMES: My daughter lives with her father half-time so there are many nights throughout the week/weekend that I will be available to care for animals that are not kid-friendly or if you just prefer me not to have my daughter with me while caring for your home/pets. Ask me about specific dates if this is the case. THE LONG VERSION I am an animal lover with no animals. I’ve always had a dog in the house up until last year and I am dying without one! Unfortunately, I am unable to keep a dog full-time because I live in an apartment and am not home enough to give one the proper attention he/she deserves. Taking care of your pets is the perfect solution because while I’m unable to be a full-time pet mommy, I am most certainly able to be a part-time pet mommy. :) I grew up with large dogs - I’m talking 4 large golden retrievers in the home at once. My family is definitely the “pets are part of the family” type (my mom used to refer to our dogs as my brothers/sisters). I’ve fed, walked, groomed, etc. these dogs on my own since I was a kid. The most recent pet I’ve cared for long-term was my mother’s non-trained, allergy-ridden pitbull. Because of him, I am experienced working with pets who require extra medical attention (special diets, medications, special skin treatments, etc.). He gets overly territorial around other dogs or humans he doesn’t know, so he is also the reason I know how to handle dogs with LIGHT behavioral issues. I used to house-sit for parents that I babysat for while in college. I can keep up with plants, animals, trash, mail, whatever the case. I do have a 4 year old daughter who is REALLY good with animals (gentle, respectful, etc.). I do ask that if you would like to have me board your pet for the night that he or she is child friendly. She will most definitely want to love on your animals too.
