Hello, I'm Jen and I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I've cared for dogs all my life and have made a career out of helping dogs and their people. I have completed a course to become a certified dog trainer/ instructor and have previous experience training service and working K9s that have gone on to their various careers. While caring for your dog, I am able to assist in and keep training consistent if you have certain criteria you would like to maintain for your dog. And I am always more than happy to send pictures and videos!

Jennifer did a great job watching our Essie! Being a Border Collie, she needs plenty of exercise and Jennifer accommodated with walks and ball throwing. The house was left nice and neat; Jennifer texted and sent photos, and was very punctual. We will certainly have her sit again.
Jennifer was great with our two dogs! We did a meet and greet prior- as one of our dogs can be nervous/skittish around new people in the house. She got down on their level, petting and getting to know them and their daily routine. She stayed at our house overnight as one of our dogs needs to be let out occasionally during the night. She left our house nice and locked up when she left- will definitely book with Jennifer again!
Jennifer raised the bar for what to expect with your sitter!! She was so good with my 3 yr old golden retriever. My pup can be timid in new situations and Jennifer made her feel comfortable and has her playing in the backyard with her toys in no time at all. She even swept up the leaves my dog always brings into the house after playing!! She texted me to know where the poop bags were to clean up after my dog, I was very impressed with Jennifer, she puts the dogs needs first and truly cares about them enjoying their time with her while she is here. It’s hard leaving your dog begins to work each day but it’s people like Jennifer who make it possible to know they are being taken care of while your gone. I will be using Jennifer in the future to come watch my pup, she loves being around dogs and my dog truly enjoyed her stay with Jennifer and I’m very grateful to her!!

I like to keep your dog’s routine as close to normal as possible. That includes getting up around their normal time, going for walks, playing in the yard, or taking them to the park or the beach. I want to make Ure your dog is comfortable and has little change to their routine to not stress them out.

A typical day
I am a huge fan of enrichment activities for your dog! These include a “sniffari” walk, where we go to a new place and your dog gets to sniff and explore to their hearts content! On a leash or in a safe enclosure of course! I also like to do puzzles or frozen treats. But if your dog enjoys just a walk or a snuggle, I’m all for that as well! Whatever makes your dog happy is what I will do!
