I'm a single mom with two kids. My daughter is a senior in hs and my son is a freshmen. They have been asking for a dog for the longest time but I'm not sure if they understand how much of a commitment it is. I want them to experience having a dog. Also, we travel in the summer for approximately a month and I donto want to have to leave the dog if we had one. Through out growing up, I always had a dog and understand how great dogs are emotionally. I'd like to make home-made dog treats and dog food suppliments from time to time, if that's ok with the owner. I work at home so I will be with the dog throughout the day. I do have to do Dr.op offs and pick ups for my kids in the afternoon, but it shouldn't take long at all. I'm hoping this can be a great family experience. Looking forward to it!
