Pet care experience
We've loved dogs our whole lives and joined Rover with the dream of opening our own doggy daycare someday. We bring hands-on experience, having raised our two dogs—a beagle and a basset hound—from tiny pups to well-behaved adults. Our apartment building has a dog park, that provides an ideal space for quick potty breaks and playdates with other pups.

Jennifer was a life saver! She took great care of Mole on a last minute emergency. She was extremely responsive, took Mole to the dog park and for a walk. She sent pictures of Mole happily playing with her dogs and then napping after a wonderful afternoon!
Jennifer and Jordan took great care of my 5-year-old dachshund, Winston, for the week that I was on vacation! Pick up and drop off was a breeze, and they were incredibly communicative. They sent me lots of photos and kept me updated on how Winston was doing. I think the little guy had a great time. He's usually not super social, but it looked like he befriended Jennifer's and Jordan's dogs over his stay and was really playful and comfy. I would definitely trust them to look after Winston again!
Jennifer and Jordan took Taco on plenty of adventures and treated him like family. They sent lots of great updates. He almost didn’t want to leave when it was time! Highly recommend if your dog likes other dogs and needs/wants a lot of activity!

Does your dog enjoy the dog park? 2) We’re very outdoorsy people - is it okay if we take your dog on 3-5 mile hikes with us? 3) Feeding - at what time(s) does your pup eat, and how much do they need? 4) Sleeping - how does your pup like to go to bed at night? In your bed, in a separate room, in a crate, etc?
A typical day
You can expect your pup to have lots of play time while they’re with us! With our beagle and basset hound, they’ll have other pups to play with during the day. Our apartment building has a dog park where we play fetch and let our dogs let out their zoomiez. We also love getting out the house, so most days we'll either go hiking in the Berkley Hills or to the Alameda Dog Park.

Having two pups of our own, pet care is already integrated into our daily routine. We have flexible work home jobs, ensuring your pup gets enough attention & potty breaks throughout the day.
