I believe in a bonding experience. Whether it is for three hours or thirty minutes. I have had dogs around me sense I was a baby. My mom tells stories of how my sister learned to walk with our dog Suzie. She was a German shepherd. We then adopted an Alaskan malamute, and got a miniature sheltie when my cousin was allergic to him. Our latest dog was a hound. My husband found her on his job site, and the humane society thought see would not make it. When she did we knew we had to adopt her! We have had different breeds of dogs, but I have loved them all. Dogs are wonderful and I would love to take care of them, or visit them.
