I'd love to hang with your pup, take walks or play ball or even just sit and pet them. Whatever your dog loves and helps them get through the day without mom and/or dad. I have personally fostered or saved over 50 dogs in the last 5 years through rescue or adoption (to my own home), and even more if you count all the transports. Each of the dogs have had unique needs and personalities. I have even had the experience of fostering an expectant mama who gave birth in my home. She and I then worked together to take care of her 9 sweet, BIG puppies up to 12 weeks old. I also have positive, click training experience through taking classes and my friendship with a local trainer. My last adoption has been my toughest....but my friend says you learn the most with a difficult dog....the easy ones are well....easy. He has high anxiety and his fear has turned aggressive. There was a time I cried often because I loved him so much but I wasn't sure how to help him but I couldn't give up. Between training, medication, learning how to make him feel safe and time, he is a loving and loyal boy now. He is my heart. This commitment is what I bring to my work. Dogs are my life. I won't take the responsibility lightly.
