Pet care experience
I have many years of experience in both pet sitting and dog walking from caring for family and friends pets to professional work and volunteering. I first started by looking after 2 of my aunties dogs back 6 years ago and have done ever since when they go on holiday. I also have a dog of my own named lola who is a 7 year old staffy. I then started volunteering 4 years ago at a rescue and rehoming centre taking on challenges such as walking, feeding and cleaning. In September 2018 i attended Askham Bryan college were i studied an animal management level 3 diploma receiving a grade pass in June 2019. Whilst at college i took on a job role as an animal care assistant in a boarding kennels were i looked after peoples dogs and cats while they were away on holiday. In this job role my duties included daily walking and exercising the dogs, feeding both dogs and cats, daily enrichments, cleaning and sometimes bathing and grooming if required by the owner. My future plans are to open a doggie day care and pet cafe close to were i live which planning has been started.

Jennifier would make a great dog sitter / walker as she is a caring and loving person. Her passion for dogs means she would always make sure the dogs where safe and cared for whilst in her care. Jennifier took my dog for a walk every day whilst I was on holiday. Thoughout this time she provided a reliable service and made sure the needs of my dog were met everyday they spent time together, making sure he was safe and having fun. Jennifier has alot of knowledge about dogs and would treat every dog as if it was her own and would be a great assest to have on your team.

I would need to know temperament towards people and other animals, if the dogs recall is good and if there is any restraints to be used on walks eg. Lead, harness, collar or long line and Is there and health problems to take into consideration.
A typical day
When on walks i will check with the owner were the dogs favourite place is however I'm willing to go other places like the beach, parks and woodlands if the owner is happy for me to do so. I also take a variety of toys on walks such as frisbees and balls if the owner allows their dog to play and also like to give a treat or two depending on the dogs dietary requirements.
