Pet care experience
I grew up as the daughter of a vet. Since I was a kid I've helped at the animal hospital, volunteered with the local animal shelter, and fostered animals waiting to be adopted out. I have a great deal of experience training, treating, and in general caring for a variety of animals. To me animals are important friends and members of the family. They are more that just animals they are part of our hearts 💕
Reviews
Jennifer is a loving and caring cat, dog, and fish owner. She has experience with taking care of so many different animals, even your unusual ones. When I was in Japan, she took care of my rabbit and would give me lots of status updates since my rabbit had to go to the vet for nasal/breathing issues. She took care of her while she was sick and would Skype with me so I could see how she was doing. Would definitely have Jennifer watch any of my animals again!
Caring for dogs is a family business for Jennifer and me. Jennifer is my daughter and I am a veterinarian. She grew up caring for our large family of pets including a snake and a pot belly pig. She spent time in my veterinary hospital and she is a capable and concerned caregiver. Your dog will have a great "sleep over" with Jennifer, Frida, Chicken Tendies and Robbie.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is not fully fenced in but is plenty large enough for on leash play and bathroom time. I generally keep my house clean and devoid of things that would be hard to clean, could be messed up by animals, or things animals could get sick interacting with. For the most part my house is pretty roomy and animals are more that welcome on the furniture. I am experienced with crate training, in fact after trying my dog she actually perfers sleeping in her crate at night.

Information Jennifer H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of if your dog has any allergies, issues with with kids in the 8 to 10 range, and if they have any issues with cats. Please also let me know if there are any behaviors you'd like me to discourage while doggie sitting ?
A typical day
Our day starts out with meal time. Then afterwards I give freeda her eye medication. Next on the agenda, we drop drop my son off at school then go for a walk around the canal or go to the local dog park to burn off energy. Next we relax around the house while I clean or paint. Then I let freeda out one last time to go to the bathroom. Around 9 pm freeda gets her second dose of her medication and gets a treat to go to bed in her crate.

I feed all my animals twice daily. I feed my cat, dog, and all my fish babies. 🐟 My dog, freeda goes out twice a day for bathroom time and for walks in the morning when it's cool out. My cat, chicken tendies, gets carried around the house as I do chores since he's a big baby that needs to be pampered. Additionally, I give my animals their flea and heartworm meds as directed and give my puppy her eye drops twice a day.
