Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, and pockets pets and am now on track to apply to veterinary school this fall. I am currently a veterinary assistant and have two of my own dogs with my fiancé. My field of work and experience with one of my dogs makes me equipped to care for special needs animals and those who require any extra attention, medication, etc.

It’s important for me to know of any special needs they may have and their behavior towards other animals. For example, I would like to know if a dog has leash aggression towards other dogs before I take them on a walk.
A typical day
I like to give the animals that I watch both physical and mental stimulation! Not only going for walks and playing with toys, but also making enrichment activities that get them thinking and solving puzzles.

Availability
I am currently working full time (8-6) Monday through Friday, but am fully available for overnights during those days. After work on Friday and through the weekend, pets are my main focus and I enjoy taking my own dogs for hikes, walks, and car rides.
