Pet care experience
While you're at work or away, your pet(s) and I will have fun and play! I have been pet-sitting and walking dogs since obtaining my drivers license at age 16, and have been a pet mom to dogs and cats all my life. I have experience with all ages and stages of dogs and cats. I also have experience with hamsters, snakes, hermit crabs, and lizards. Most recently I've had lots of interaction with elderly and special needs dogs. I love going on outdoor adventures, especially walking and hiking with dogs that love long jaunts! For those that need a slower pace, we stick closer to home and enjoy play and exercise in more familiar/comfortable settings. In addition, I have administered oral medications and have experience in following strict feeding regimens.

Jennifer is amazing! She took wonderful care of my kitty who is skittish and requires meds and special food. I haven’t gone out of town for months since I have been worried to leave him. Jennifer gave detailed updates, spent time with my kitty to allow him to get more comfortable with her, and sent pictures each visit. I’m grateful to have found a sitter who is so attentive and thorough. I will definitely see if she is available the next time I go out of town.

Before taking care of your pet I always make sure to document emergency contact information and veterinary information, and make sure I know about any medical and temperament concerns. If you are nervous about your dog being in certain situations, I make sure we avoid those. I do not have any breed restrictions/ preferences. I have more experience with large dogs, but have owned medium and small as well.
A typical day
For those sticking close to home, we will enjoy fetch and outdoor play at your home or a nearby park. For those that enjoy long jaunts, we will explore the trail systems, and also go on "field trips" to the dog parks for those that enjoy company.
