Pet care experience
I grew up around all kinds of animals. I love dogs especially but of course I enjoy cats or even rabbits! My sister liked to bring home small critters like hedgehogs and ferrets and chinchillas. To say I’m an animal lover is an understatement— I volunteer at local animal shelters, I run for charity for the ASPCA and I had my own baby her entire long life before she recently passed of old age. I have experience with big dogs and small dogs, old dogs and young puppies, and I’m used to cleaning up after them all the time. I’m also a babysitter and the parents I’ve sat for have always been pleased to see I cared for their pets along with their kids. I’m a small person but I love big dogs, even St. Bernards, although I’d understand your hesitation when it comes to strength on a lead. My goal is to make your dog as comfortable as possible, sticking to normal routine to avoid anxiety and illness. I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Jennifer was able to book last minute and took exceptional care of the dogs. She came the day before for a meet and greet, stayed at the house, even vacuumed before I got home. I told her she was welcome to head out before I got home but she wanted to wait until I walked in the door. If you're looking for someone trustworthy id book Jennifer ASAP. I'm good with all dogs-- even aggressive ones. I would like to know if he/she has ever bitten anyone before-- not that it will deter me. Dogs who bite aren't necessarily bad dogs, just initially misguided. But it would be nice to be prepared for it. I have been bitten by dogs before and I know it's scary for the dog owner when their beloved animal harms another, but it's not a problem for me. I don't have breed preferences, I love all dogs-- but if the breed requires special care, I would like to know. I.e. If the coat needs brushing daily, or if they are prone to anxiety or timidness. This information helps with my care for them.
A typical day
I love play time and outdoors time. For the safety of the dog, if you want me to take him/her to the park, they will always be leashed. I understand some dogs do well off-leash, but the truth is they are more comfortable with their parents. Walks, the park, indoor playtime is all fun with me. Even just relaxing and providing company sounds good.
