I've been around dogs since birth. I grew up with a rambunctious Akita as a little girl and learned a lot the hard way. In high school we got a labrador and learned how to house train, even though the little darling made his way into our bedrooms. We loved having an indoor/outdoor pup and our home was perfect for it. We later trained three of our dogs puppies and at home we have our old boy Charro, his two four year olds, and an old lhasa apso. It was interesting to see how Dharma (lhasa apso) got accustomed to life with three labs! We like to let our dog roam in and outdoors. We understand the importance of wellness, staying fit, letting out energy, and eating well. At home we do give our old dogs treats/scraps from the table, but would never offer a stranger's dog my food unless specified. I'm a jogger so I love to have a running buddy! After fun I like to snuggle, on the couch or in bed, I can scratch those ears and that belly for hours.
