Pet care experience
I’ve raised two puppies - a briard (working breed) and a cavapoo. They are both the sweetest! Before these two, I took care of my family dog- an old English sheepdog who passed away of old age. I’ve always loved dogs so much and my cavapoo, Charli, absolutely loves the company of other dogs and would be thrilled to have your dog stay with us or go for a walk with us. I’ve also taken care of a very scared rescue dog owned by my previous roommate so I have experience will all sizes and backgrounds! I currently live in manhattan. I work from home and can’t think of a better way to spend my free time than to take care of doggies!

I’ve know Jen for almost 14 years and she’s always been an animal lover. She’s had dogs her whole life and is a gentle, thoughtful, and engaged pet owner. I don’t say that lightly - I am someone who really considers my dog as part of my family and everyone around me thinks I’m a little dramatic. But I’d say Jen is on my level with how much she loves her dogs. I would trust Jen with my dog 100% because I know she would give her the love and care that she’s used to at home. I think she would make an amazing dog sitter.

As mentioned, I live in an over 1,000 square foot apartment with a lot of open space. I allow dogs on my bed and couch and they can sit with me or run around and play whichever they prefer. We live right on the west side where the walking path is for a nice walk in a clean area.

A typical day
Typical day starts with a walk with my dog Charli and then I sit down to work while she plays with toys. We take a break to go to one of the various dog parks in the area. Lots of treats and love !

Availability
Pet care fits into my daily / weekly routine because I work from home and I am completely able to care for a dog because I care for my own already. We love long walks along the west side walkway near Brookfield place and over to the nice big field of grass. My apartment is over 1,000 square feet with a lot of open space and a nice big couch.
