All our guests need to be somewhat social and fairly good with other dogs with no serious fight or aggression risk, for the safety of everyone. The size of your dog does not matter, it can be small, medium, large or even huge, they just must not have severe aggression towards other dogs! I do not recommend at home daycare or boarding for a very sick or injured dog, or a very elderly dog with low tolerance for playfulness. It is like a small private dog park and may not be appropriate for a furry friend who will not enjoy playtime. I CANNOT ACCEPT FEMALE DOGS IN HEAT. If you bring me a female dog who I can tell is in heat, I will have to refuse to accept her. Female dogs in heat start fights even if they are normally well behaved, yes, even your angel fur baby. Please deduce for yourself if your dog really belongs in a home daycare or if they would be happier at a kennel with professional trainers and veterinarians. It would not be fair to your dog, myself, and the other dogs in my care to leave a dog who is aggressive, wild, untrained or very sick. I have crates, blankets, bowls and toys. I do not recommend bringing beds or plush toys as they will probably be played with by all the dogs and get torn up. You can bring your dog's bowls if you want, but I can provide bowls as well. I recommend bringing your dog's food and other items in a bag labeled with their name. Hope to see you and your pup soon!

Days here are spent outdoors as much as possible if the weather is nice, with the door open to the sunroom for anyone who wants to come in and relax inside. Exercise is done in the yard with playtime, usually not with walks, though if the circumstances (weather and number of dogs staying here, etc) are good I will take them on walks as well.
