I’ve had dogs in my life since I was born, we had Airedale terriers growing up, our girl Ginger had a litter & my parents kept one puppy. So we had two females Ginger & Erika. My Mum volunteered at our vets clinic for several years when I was young, starting at pre K or & I came with her learned so much! We had two more Airedales over the years, I also at 11 started pet sitting the neighbours cat. Since then I have pet sat cats, dogs, fish, bearded dragon, salamander, turtle, birds- puppies & kittens. I can train a dog to walk & properly’heel’ when walking. I also am an intermediate level western horse rider, I worked a summer in a stable as a stable hand. Love horses too. As my Airedales grew older I learned how to give them medicine. I have brushed both cats & dogs teeth. I know how to make kong frozen treats. I later had my own cats & an Airedale, my tabby was mischievous needed fun active smart toys. I have applied medicine in cats eyes & good tricks to hide meds in treats for pets to take easily. Having had my Airedales since puppies I am used to ‘potty’ training to get outside either in an apartment setting or home with a yard & yes I will do poop clean up & litterboxes. I believe in leaving a home tidy & keep up with proper household work, take out garbage & recycling, pick up Mail. So you come home to fresh sheets & groceries if needed - any extra errands can be discussed I’m willing to do if I can. I have been a nanny, light housekeeping cook for a family. * I have a day job now, so I am more available for house/pet sitting & first morning walks, feeding and later evening walks, while live in house sitting- can change litter boxes too of course . My days available for walking/ feeding are Tuesday or Sunday now as of April 2024.* Thank you I look forward to hearing from you.
