Pet care experience
Since childhood I have always had a dog in my household. I also have numerous years of experience dog sitting for neighbors and friends. Every type of dog from German Shepherds to terriers to poodles. I had a dog for 16 years growing up that a lot of eye issues and required daily treatments so I am familiar with giving medications as well. I live in an apartment but I am close to many walking trails and grassy areas. My apartment is extremely dog friendly as well. I am home most weekends but work in DC during the week. I love dogs and all animals and would be happy to show your dog love and affection while you are away. Looking forward to meeting your pets!

Jennifer did great with Sumi despite her inital anxiety at hand-off. But everything seemed to go well for the weekend and Sumi came back a happy camper!
Jennifer was awesome from initial contact to handing our pup, Hugo, back off to us after his time with her. Will definitely use her again when we are in Alexandria!

I live in an apartment but there are plenty of grassy areas around my building. And lots of paths to walk on. PLEASE NOTE-There are a lot of dogs that also live in my apartment building. If your dog does not get along with other dogs this environment may not be the right fit.

Let me know if your dogs are ok with always being on a leash when being let out. I do not have a fenced in yard so any time spent going out will be on walks. Also let me know if they are ok with other dogs because there are a lot in the area.
A typical day
There are a lot of parks and walking trails in my area. I am also walking distance to Old Town Alexandria. Now that the weather is changing longer walks will be ideal!

Availability
I am currently working full time . I commute into DC everyday but my schedule can be adjusted during the week for drop offs or pick ups. I typically leave the house around 7 and get back around 4:30 or 5; my schedule is flexible though in some instances!
